On the occasion of the anniversary of Dr. Charles Dotter’s first angioplasty, CIRSE, SIR and SoBRICE are inviting healthcare professionals around the world to celebrate World IR Day on January 16.
Through World IR Day, we hope to increase the general public’s awareness of interventional radiology procedures and all they can do for the patient. Interventional radiologists, radiographers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the specialty are encouraged to celebrate World IR Day by using the artwork below to share their pride in being part of IR and their success stories via social media.
